National biofouling management guidelines for recreational vessels

These guidelines aim to provide recreational vessel operators with tools to minimise the amount of biofouling accumulating on their vessels and thereby to minimise the risk of spreading marine pests around the Australian coastline.

One of a series of six national biofouling management guidelines.

Note: This document contains references to the 'ANZECC Code of Practice for Antifouling and In-water Hull Cleaning and Maintenance 1997'. The ANZECC Code was superceded in June 2013 and readers are advised to refer to the 'Antifouling and in-water cleaning guidelines' for current guidance on antifouling and in-water cleaning in Australian waters.
