National control plan for the European or basket shell clam
This document presents the nationally agreed management response plan to reduce the impacts and minimise the spread of Varicorbula gibba (European or basket shell clam) in Australian waters.
It includes practical management approaches to prevent, control or manage the impacts of Varicorbula gibba, contingency plans for new incursions, recommendations for public awareness strategies and future research and development and estimated budgets and resource requirements to implement the control plan.
